Workshop Support Volunteer - as needed
Support a class or ministry facilitator by organizing the room beforehand, overseeing sign-ins, collecting love offerings and straightening the room afterward.

Chapel Angel - weekly
Up to 1/2 hour prior to the service, arrange and straighten chairs. After the service is over, pick up and discard bulletins and trash

PR and Marketing Volunteer If your special talent is public relations and marketing, come join our PR and Marketing Team.

Seasonal Decorating Team Volunteer - If you have a special knack with things sparkly and fresh to beautify the inside of our building during the seasons, please come join our Seasonal Decorating Team!

The Care Team provides social, emotional, physical and spiritual support as needed by members of our congregation.
 
Prayer Team Volunteer: Prayer is provided in a group setting right after the service where a loving open space is provided for prayer.

Prayer Chain Volunteer:  An anonymous group who prays for our congregation and ministry daily as part of their personal prayer practice. All that is shared is held in strict confidence. Membership and training requirement. 
 
Helping Hands Volunteer:  Provides support for our congregation members by bringing casseroles or simple dishes when members are just home from the hospital, have just given birth, are ill or have other life crisis. They also provide Memorial Service hospitality. Requires transportation.

This program undertakes a variety of activities designed to assist those in our community. Past and current events include Ronald McDonald House, Food Basket, Christmas Angels, Hands on Greenville and more. For more information, see the Community Outreach tab.

We continually seek ways to keep connected with visitors and members alike, letting everyone know that they are accepted and cared about. These crucial connections are the foundation of our church. Some of the ways we do this are:
 
Welcome Team:  These volunteers welcome visitors with open arms and hearts. Write short notes, make phone calls - say hi and be a friendly voice. Come join our Connections team! Will be using our web-based PowerVisitor program so Internet access is required.
 
Potluck Team: Assists with Sunday Potluck functions held throughout the year - includes arranging and setting up tables and chairs, food and drink and clean-up. Share in the joy of service!
 
Usher/Greeter Team:  Assist attendees in finding seats, pass out welcome packets, collect offerings, hand out bulletins and create a loving and sacred space for everyone who comes for worship at UCG.
 
Sunday Hospitality & Refreshment Team: Provide refreshments, prepare coffee, clean up and take out the trash. It's the perfect opportunity to share your friendship and your smiles!

Designed to raise both fun and funds, this team works to raise money for expanding our funds.. If you are passionate about the Unity mission and love to talk about it, come join our Fundraising Team members.

For anyone interested in decorating, design, or working out doors, our property management volunteers are responsible for maintaining and decorating our church property.

Exterior Building & Grounds:  Help maintain our gorgeous 15 acres of land. Exterior buildings maintenance, mowing, general grounds clean-up.
Building Maintenance:  carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc.
Equipment Repair:  Help repair mechanical & electrical equipment as well as carpentry and plumbing
Landscaping:  Help with the landscaping while beautifying the Unity Church grounds. Come join our Landscaping team!

If you enjoy working behind the scenes and have technical abilities, come join our Tech Team.

Sound Board Team: Should be knowledgeable with overall sound operation and have a good ear, attention span and instinct working with sound
 
Video Team:  Shoot video projects as needed for our services, special performances, and other uses - assist in streaming the services on the internet
 
PowerPoint Team:  Run PowerPoint presentations on Sundays, as needed, and for Special Events and services

Photographer Volunteer - as needed. Photograph events, staff, volunteers, and congregants.
 

Our amazing volunteers make our youth ministry programs run smoothly, safely and with the excellence our families have come to expect. We extend love, honor and a HUGE thank you to the amazing volunteers who make it all happen. Come join this team and make a difference for our youth.

Teachers & Co-teachers - 3 hrs a week for 1 year commitment
Create a loving spiritual community for our children by offering your gift to encourage, serve and lead. We offer a complete curriculum, training and plenty of support (1 year commitment required).

Y.O.U. Leaders /Sponsors - 2-3 hours per month
Create a safe environment for our teens to explore their spirituality and become more comfortable as a whole person.

We also have opportunities for substitute teachers, nursery assistance, chaperones for outings, and volunteers willing to assist with youth-oriented events.

Band: We welcome members that can rehearse and are skilled at their instrument - submit a sample recording for review.
 

Theater Arts:  actors, singers, stage help, tech support, set design and construction and more
