Food Basket

We have a volunteer to deliver the food to a food pantry in the area. She will

deliver it to one of the agencies such as United Ministries, Salvation Army or other food pantries in our area.

Let's make sure she has to make lots of trips. Remember if we each bring one item

each Sunday, the basket will be over flowing.

Care Package to the Troops for the Holidays

We will be collecting items to be sent to the troops for the next 2 weeks.  The Blue Star Mothers will be packaging the items which will be shipped for the holidays.  If you wish to help with this project, please bring NEW, Individual Size Items Only Please no later than November 8. We still have $40 which wasn't used last time, the money will be donated to them to help defray shipping costs.

HUNGER DOES NOT TAKE A  VACATION

The food banks in Greenville are running low.  Our help is needed to help the hungry.  If you are able to bring non-perishable food items for our food basket at the front door, we will take it to a local center.  If each of us bought one extra item when food shopping, it would fill our basket to overflowing.

Aluminum Can Pull Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

We have a can on the front table for pull tabs.  Several groups save them for Ronald McDonald house and the money is used to help pay the power bill.  If you use cans with tabs, it only takes a few seconds to pull off the tops and bring them to church on Sunday. It is a cost free way for us to help this project.
