WE JOYFULLY AFFIRM:

  Diversity enriches us and is beneficial to our community.

       We recognize that Holy Spirit speaks through many teachers        through all the ages.

       The scripture is inspired and useful in awakening God consciousness within us.  Scripture teaches us how to walk an enlightened path and how to apply the principles of the law of oneness and love.

       The Christ Presence, is an ever present guide on our journey through life.

       Jesus the Christ is our model of how the Divine elegantly expresses itself through the human being.

       We enjoy the many guises in which God is revealed and comes            to us.  The earth itself is a beautiful reflection of the divine grace that surrounds us.

       We are originally blessed by God and continue to live in this                "original blessing".

       We are given the remarkable ability to lovingly co-create with                 God.  Such blessing carries great responsibility, that of being                caretakers of our world as well as nurturing the creative urge that is given to all of us.  We choose to walk peacefully and gentlly upon the earth in alignment with spiritual principles.

       We are open to the continuous exploration of truth, and our church is a vital, involved, committed and loving group of inspired people interacting dynamically and compassionately with each other, the world and ourselves as we are divinely led on our spiritual journey.

       Life was meant to be fun and we must remind ourselves not to               take it too seriously!
One with the renewing power of God, I am whole and free.
Affirmations of Truth

Unity is all kinds of people finding and fulfilling their spiritual
potential in life. These affirmations are a beginning point and a way of
expressing some of our core beliefs though Unity Church is more than
these affirmations. We trust that God will guide each one of us further
along the pathway of enlightenment..
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.
